About Central Asian Cement
The Group's cement production facility is currently one of the only cement crushing plants in Ulaanbaatar. The Group only produces cement when management deems it profitable and primarily sells its cement to external parties, which allows the Group to capture any potential upside from the growth of construction and infrastructure sectors in Mongolia.
The Group's cement production facility also ensures that it has access to, when required, a consistent and reliable source of high quality concrete for the Group's real estate developments throughout the construction season, thereby mitigating the risk of a shortage of concrete, and reduces the uncertainty in the cost and timing of delivery of cement and concrete, also mitigating the risk of delays and cost overruns.
